My 1st thing I did with my new Teesha Moore stamps. Just felt that those striped legs needed to go with one of the flowers in my paper napkins stash.

I love to play with acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, papers, rubber stamps, inks and all sorts of other art medias. I am not very good with coming up with ideas of my own to create. So instead of just sitting on the sidelines and wishing that I was more talented I start creating by what others have created on blogs, websites, you tube, free tutorials and paid online classes. A lot of the time my work looks very similar to theirs, but I am learning, playing and having fun, fun, fun.

29 Faces 4 - 8
I want to do so much better in completing 29 faces this month. I only did 18 two years ago when I did this challenge. With going out of town for a couple of days and trying to do backgrounds for some of my other faces; I got behind. So today I decided to do several faces on one page. Told myself not to think about it much, only how to make it different from the last one. These 5 faces took me about 40 minutes.

Videos using an I-phone.
I have often wondered how to set up my i-phone so I could video what ever I was doing on my desk. Quite some time ago I bought one of these.
http://www.amazon.com/Joby-JM3-01WW-GripTight-GorillaPod-Stand/dp/B009GHYMB6/ref=pd_sim_sbs_cps_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=09Q91P3ZMZPEZ0G54SVG
But I still could not figure out what to attach it to so the phone would be overhead looking down on my desk. I really did not want to invest any money buying things since I plan to only occasionally make a video. Finally I came up with this idea. I took the grip tight mount off of the Gorilla Pod Stand and mounted it on an old camera tripod that I have had for years.
(I don't have my phone in the mount shown here. I had to use it to take the pictures.)
In setting this up on my desk I found out that if I leaned the tripod forward the legs of the tripod would be out of my way plus not be seen in the video.
To keep it from toppling over I mounted a couple of mini clamps on the back edge of my desk. Then put a rubber band around the clamps which secures the extended leg of the tripod.
Yeah me for figuring this out.
