I love to play with acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, papers, rubber stamps, inks and all sorts of other art medias. I am not very good with coming up with ideas of my own to create. So instead of just sitting on the sidelines and wishing that I was more talented I start creating by what others have created on blogs, websites, you tube, free tutorials and paid online classes. A lot of the time my work looks very similar to theirs, but I am learning, playing and having fun, fun, fun.
I took a class to learn how to make a starbook. Christie Hawkins (pic) from Jacksonville, FL taught it while she was here in Chattanooga visiting family. It was fun making this, but it sure did take a lot more time to complete than I first thought!
